Designed from the ground up, this Elmhurst home reflects Studio W’s signature approach to creating spaces that feel both elevated and deeply livable. Collaborating closely with the build team from early planning through final installation, we guided the home’s architectural refinement and curated every layer, from exterior selections to interior finishes, lighting, and furnishings.

A palette of warm neutrals and natural materials sets the foundation, allowing subtle tonal shifts, rich textures, and thoughtful contrasts to bring depth and interest throughout. Custom millwork, layered lighting, and carefully considered sightlines create a sense of cohesion across each space, while large windows and open volumes maximize natural light and connection to the outdoors.

Designed for a busy family who loves to entertain, the home balances beauty with function, featuring a chef’s kitchen with a fully integrated scullery, multiple gathering areas, and durable, performance driven materials that do not sacrifice aesthetics. Each room was thoughtfully furnished to feel inviting yet refined, with soft silhouettes, organic textures, and a timeless sensibility that will evolve gracefully over time.
